Each month Chef Masa hand picks four Sakes to feature in Waraji’s Sake flights. The Sakes chosen always contain a great variety in both taste and style, something you wouldn’t find at other area Japanese restaurants.   • Gekkeikan Draft (375ml) 10

    Microfiltered rather than heat pasteurized, this sake has a smooth, fresh flavor. With a semi-dry flavor character and just a hint of banana, it is designed to be enjoyed chilled or over ice. SMV +2. Draft from Folsom, CA.
  • Sho Chiku Bai Nigori (375ml) 9.57

    It is lightly-filtered and the sweetest of all of our types of sake. It is especially delicious with very spicy foods. The bottle should be shaken each time before pouring, due to the high rice content that settles at the bottom of the bottle. SMV -20. Nigori sake from Berkeley, CA.
